  1. Won't the 3770k be better?haswell will be soon launching and although processing won't go more faster , the graphics will be phenomenal for an integrated chip... I was considering leaving the graphics for now and later invest in amd 8000 or nvidia Titan 2way sli that will be future proof for at least 1-1.5 yrs.
Should I assemble the PC now or wait for haswell ?? K series mainly was to over clock and guard against haswell....

    1. Yes 3770k is better only if u overclock.
For games integrated chip gpus are not as good as dedicated GPUs.
For simple graphics they are ok.

Haswell is expected to release in June.
In technology, it is always not good to wait for a new product, because tech keep changing quickly. Decide based on ur need :-)

    2. i don't think its a good idea to go for GTX 660ti since nvidia has decided to stop manufacturing that model and instead released gtx 760. It's cheaper than GTX 660ti and has a power packed performance like a high end card. I suggest you go for gtx 760 or the gtx 660(non-ti. As for AMD 7950(i'm not an amd fan) but the card's great. It's got 384 bit memory bus but still gtx 760 does pretty well against 7950

  6. Hi Karthik,

I am planning to build high end gaming machine with i7 and GPU would be nvidia 670 ti or above. (No SLI, No overclocking)
I have a question...does gaming performance depends on Mobo also?
If I cut my expenses on mobo...so will my gaming experience be different if i use a low cost mobo instead of high end and expensive ones?
    Please advise

    Thanks in advance
    Anshul

    1. Yes, u can cut the cost on mobo.
Mobo does not affect the performance of games much.

      Make sure
      1) Ur mobo has enough space for all ur components
      2) Supports the speed of ur RAM
      3) USB 3

If u r not going to SLI, go for a mobo with 1 GPU slot.

I would recommend a medium mobo than a cheap one

  8. Hi, Can u suggest a ultra high end PC configuration for 3d Modelling and architectural works. The graphic card has to be the best for which there may not be any need to change at least for 4-5 yrs. The Memory also has to be 32 GB. I am located at Brisbane (Australia) and would like to order from U-Mart:

Budget within AUD 3000 will be more preferable. Thx in anticipation.
